Jill Sorensen - Host/PRODUCER

Jill Sorensen is a Swedish-American writer/producer and women’s activist. She is creator and host of The New Feminist Podcast. She came to the US to work as a fashion model with the Ford Agency in New York. Her experience in the fashion industry incited her to write her first feature film about how American society views the aging of women. Jill is co-founder of Knock Out Abuse, one of the largest organizations in Washington DC that since 1993 has helped victims of domestic violence. Now also in Los Angeles, Knock Out Abuse West raises awareness via live events, speaker series and community activism. KOAW also create living spaces for survivors to help rebuild their lives. Currently Jill is developing, writing and producing content focused on women’s story telling through the collaborative platform Calamity J.

SIENNA JACKSON - PRODUCER

Sienna Jackson is a social impact consultant and impact producer based in Los Angeles. Sienna is the founder and CEO of Zoran Creative Strategy, creating social impact strategy and campaign management solutions for clients seeking to grow their triple bottom line at the intersection of Cause, Culture, and Capital. Sienna also sits on the board of The Collective Identity Mentoring, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that provides professional development and mentorship for Black girls and young women ages 13-25. Before transitioning to social impact work, Sienna was a music executive in the entertainment industry with a deep background in advocacy work and journalism.


LUCY BAKER SWINBURN - EDITOR

Lucy Baker-Swinburn is an Audio Engineer who lives in Buckinghamshire in the South East of England with her wife and two sons (and a menagerie of animals). After graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama with a BA Hons in Theatre Sound she has worked in the entertainment industry ever since - clocking up over 40 West End Theatre credits to her name. Lucy’s most recent work has been providing Music Technology and Programming for the London and Broadway productions of Company and Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, UK productions of SIX and most recently, the new musical Fantastic Women Who Changed the World

Lucy is passionate about women’s voices being heard and was thrilled to edit the first season of The New Feminist. Following the success of season 1, Lucy is really looking forward to continuing her work with Jill and Sienna, getting stuck into season 2!
